Band Camp Success

As was suspected, our kids rose to the challenge, worked extremely hard, and managed to complete the show in spite of the pouring rain. BRAVO!!!!!

Thanks to all the parents who came to band camp. As you know, our kids are amazing, aren't they?. Not only are they talented musicians, but creative ones as well. Great skits, great songs, great bunch of kids.

Thanks to the staff who motivate and challenge our kids to a level that seems unreachable to those on the sidelines. But, each and every year, they teach our kids amazing skills.

Thank you to the parents for sharing your talented child with us. While you may have picked up a very soggy and exhausted child last night, you also picked up one that worked extremely hard to meet the challenges put before them. You would have been so proud of them. Yes, some may be saying "this is too hard"...but, I promise, they will soon feel the pride and intensity when they walk out to the field this coming Friday night at the first football game half-time (Sept 2nd), hearing the cheers from the stands, under the lights, seeing the people in the stands. PLEASE come see what they accomplished and help make them feel that "pride and intensity".

Most important, thank you to the dedicated students who continue to make this program the success it is. You are truly amazing! It was great getting to know the new kids...it was equally as wonderful seeing those who returned because of their love of music and willingness to work hard, showing us all that they are truly an incredible group of kids.

BRAVO!!!!!! Thanks for making my last band camp a great experience.
