Best Ever Wreath Sale !!!!

Just a thank you for everyone who bought, sold, helped make or helped deliver over 420 wreaths this year!!! Many of them were purchased by DPMC alumni, friends and neighbors. I believe this is the most wreaths ever sold by DPMC - at least in the 10 years I have been involved. This is especially significant considering it is not an England trip on the horizon. Thank you all for your support!

All New England Band Festival

Congratulations to Jenny, Eben, Lauren and Kyle for being selected to attend the All New England Band Festival at Plymouth State University yesterday. They, along with high school musicians from across New England gave a spectacular performance. Here a few pictures taken in between songs (sorry for not getting close ups of Lauren and Eben).

As requested at last nights DPMC meeting, here are pictures of the BEAUTIFUL wreaths that we will be selling soon. These are the actual wreaths we sold last year. Forms should be coming home soon. Start taking orders NOW!!! Keep Donna W. posted on how many you have sold so she can order extra.

I think we can break last years record of 400+

As you can plainly see (be sure to tell potential customers to check 'em out here on the blog) they are as nice as Bean's $40 wreaths for half the price!!!

NHSO Concert Friday November 12, 2004

A number of DPMC parents and students were treated to the Russian Legends Stravinsky, Prokofiev, and Tchaikovsky under the enthusiastic direction of Kenneth Kiesler, conductor. Phenomenal soloist pianist, Michael Gurt brought the audience to their feet in a thunderous standing ovation at the conclusion of Sergei Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Major, Op. 26. He treated his enthusiastic audience to an equally well recieved encore. After an intermission when I was able to purchase the goodies above, Kenneth Kielsler lead the orchestra through a breathtakingly beautiful rendition of Peter Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64, one of my personal favorites.
Thanks to George Reagan and the generosity of the New Hampshire Symphony Orchestra, I was able to get a front and center orchestra seat, a Kenneth Kiesler CD and a lucious box of Belgian chocolates for less than the regular ticket price of one SEAT !!! Above you see it all. In fact if I had known my wife wasn't going to share (yes she ate both of the missing chocolates) I actually could have bought TWO lucious boxes of Belgian chocolates for less than the regular ticket price!!!
I would have liked to post a picture of the concert, but of course no photography was allowed. If I could have taken a photo, you would see a wide angle shot of a Steinway concert grand piano. I have never been that close to a Steinway!!! Thank you George!!!!

Here are the sectional pictures I took today. My apologies to the colorguard. I will get photos of you at the Christmas parade before the parade starts. These are actually bigger and better photos than I will be able to publish on the school site because of their size limitations. Thank goodness for GOOGLE and Blogger who are providing a great community service!!!
